The trial version has the same installation procedure as the regular version, so please read the main installation instructions page first.
Trial Installation Troubleshooting
Since the PHP files are encoded in the trial version, it may require some additional work to get the trial working in some cases.
The source files are encoded with the ionCube encoder, that require special loader file to make the encoded files work. In most cases, it should just work as we are packaging the loader files for the most widely used systems within the trial package.
If the trial doesn't run, there are two possible reasons:- The loader file for your operating system hasn't been bundled with the package. In such case, you can download the loader file yourself and copy the file into the /ioncube directory of your LiveCart trial directory.
- If this doesn't help, it is most likely that dynamic loading of extensions hasn't been enabled for your PHP setup. In such case, you would have to modify the php.ini file to load the loader extension. The instructions on what exactly needs to be added to php.ini you will find in the loader assistance page.
